Two days after being completely shellacked by the Senate and House Judiciary Committees, Kristie Noem was removed from her position as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security today. ¹

Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) has been selected to succeed Noem. Mullin is a hardcore MAGA member and election denier who has a close relationship with the President. Mullin will require confirmation by his Senate colleagues to properly assume the role. ²
